Celebrating the Success of Our 2025 Summer Lessons

From 11th August to 8th September, the National Association of Itsekiri Students (NAIS), under the leadership of the Olaga (President), Eyitweremi Amajuoritse, and his executives, hosted a summer lesson program at Dore Numa College, Iyara, Warri, Delta State, to prepare Junior and Senior Secondary students for the new school session.

For weeks, students attended classes that strengthened their knowledge and skills. The program closed with an examination and a special award ceremony, where the top three students were recognized for their outstanding performance. Alongside the awards, learning materials were given to all participants as a celebration of their dedication throughout the program.

This success was possible because of the combined efforts of many hands. We extend our special appreciation to Amb. Dr. Toyin Agbolayah, Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, whose support as sponsor played a vital role in making this program a reality. We are equally grateful to the teachers who taught, the volunteers who gave their time, the participants who showed up with commitment, and NAIS leadership for their vision and dedication.

This is more than an ending — it is the start of something greater. With the lessons learned and the spirit of community alive, we look forward to even bigger and better editions in the future.
