Summer lesson program
Education is the foundation for personal and societal growth. To promote continuous learning, we are introducing the Summer Learning Adventure, taking place in the first week of August. Tailored for students aged 8-16, this interactive programme blends academic and extracurricular activities to close learning gaps, build new skills, and foster a love for learning. It offers a fun and productive way for students to stay intellectually active during the holiday, while preparing for the next academic session.

Back to school campaign
Education is vital for societal development, and access to basic school materials plays a key role in academic success. To support this, the National Association of Itsekiri Students Worldwide (NAISW), through the Office of the Welfare Director, is launching a Back-to-School Campaign for primary pupils in Warri South, Warri North, and Warri South-West. The initiative aims to provide essential school supplies to 1,500 pupils—500 from each LGA—to encourage school attendance and ensure they are well-prepared for the new term.

Leadership summit
Leadership is rooted in vision, influence, and driving sustainable change. The National Leadership and Mentorship Summit, organized by the National Association of Itsekiri Students (NAIS), is a transformative event designed to empower future leaders. It brings together young talents, professionals, and community stakeholders to explore strategies for nation-building, ethical governance, and community development.

Girl child program
Empowering the girl child is essential for building a just, inclusive, and progressive society. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by young girls—ranging from limited access to education to societal expectations—the National Association of Itsekiri Students (NAIS) is introducing the Girl Child Program. This initiative is designed to educate, uplift, and inspire girls within Itsekiri communities by creating a safe space for learning, mentorship, and empowerment. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and mentorship opportunities, the program aims to equip participants with the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to pursue their goals and contribute meaningfully to society.

Itsekiri language debate
Language is key to preserving cultural identity and history. The Itsekiri language faces challenges from globalization and shifting linguistic trends. This debate will explore whether preserving and promoting Itsekiri is essential or if embracing more widely spoken languages is a better path to progress.
